Ireland’s historic castles,
ruins, rugged coasts and lush pastoral countryside inspired the 2009 work, including this interior inspired by @bantryhouseandgarden on the Southwest coast. Though the grounds are astoundingly beautiful, it was this salon that caught my imagination - music charming the light to come in, the garden listening. A grand piano anchors the foreground, (with a piece of my grandmother's antique sheet music for good measure) and light sweeps across the aged and polished wooden floors.
